It’s so relaxing I almost always fall asleep. Moms carry a ton of tension in their necks and shoulders. You could even consider this a gift to yourself – because she probably won’t be asking you for as many massages.

Slippers may be a bit of a cliche gift, but just because they’re often given doesn’t mean they’re not a good choice! I love getting slippers, and my mom does, too. Our feet are perpetually cold, so we wear them a lot and they wear out quickly.

I’ve seen men get bent out of shape at the idea that their wives would enjoy spending a night in a hotel alone. Don’t do that. Women tend to take on most of the housework and childcare, but those are just the visible workloads. Our minds also race a million miles a minute, making sure we haven’t forgotten any deadlines, appointments, medications, birthdays, grocery items, etc… The mental workload is even bigger.
