DIY Thanksgiving decorations are fun to do and easy to personalize. I especially love projects that don’t take up a lot of space in my storage bins!
I decided to make a printable Thanksgiving banner that I could use over and over again – and even switch up what it says from time to time. The go-to, of course, is “Happy Thanksgiving.” But since I made the entire alphabet, anything is possible!
Fall colors are beautiful, but I didn’t want too much red, orange, or brown in my banner. It can be too brash and jarring against my cool grey home. I like a neutral background that doesn’t use up too much of my printer ink, so I went with a beige and white plaid design that looks wavy like real fabric. Warm autumn colors were used in the fall foliage surrounding the center circle. Each letter is a burnt orange with a reddish-brown outline.
Since I’m so thankful for readers like YOU, I’m offering up a free version of my banner you can print and hang in your home!

This free Thanksgiving banner printable is a 9-page PDF with two banner flags to an 8.5×11 sheet. After you print and cut out the flags, each one will be about 5” by 7”.
I strongly recommend printing them on either glossy photo paper or white cardstock for the best quality. Once you’ve got your flags ready, punch holes in the top left corners and weave some yarn or twine through for hanging!
