Autumn is a magical time of year, filled with fuzzy sweaters, pumpkin-flavored everything, and โ for some women โ the anticipation of a new arrival. If youโre hosting a Little Pumpkin-themed baby shower during this charming season, why not incorporate matching pumpkin baby shower games? From classic games with a pumpkin twist to fun activities that will get everyoneโs blood pumping in the chilly weather, Iโve created plenty of coordinating pumpkin-themed games for a memorable baby shower.
Little Pumpkin Baby Shower Games
Giving baby shower games a pumpkin theme makes them an obvious choice for a shower held in the fall, but pumpkins (and pumpkin spice, yum) should NOT be confined to a certain time of year! At least, not in my opinion. โLittle Pumpkinโ is an adorable theme that can be used year-round by expecting mothers who love the idea, so donโt feel like you canโt just because the baby is due in a different season.
And while these designs are, in fact, perfect for a Little Pumpkin baby shower theme, theyโll also go well with any baby shower theme that has a fall aesthetic. For shower planners on a budget, Iโm also offering a set of FIVE of the best baby shower games I have โ still featuring pumpkins! โ completely free. But first, let me tell you about some of my favorite games from the big bundle.

Classic Baby Shower Games
Baby shower games have been around for a long time, and some of them just never grow old! The next few games are either specific to the parents-to-be (making them new and exciting every time) or different depending on the teams participating in them.
Baby Shower Charades
This is a great game for getting guests up on their feet! Split everyone into two or more groups and play a classic game of charades. Naturally, every term theyโll have to act out is related to having or taking care of a baby! This can make it more difficult to act out, but helps narrow down ideas for guessing.
Which Would Mommy Rather?
Youโll get the correct answers for this game straight from the mommy-to-be herself. Have her fill out a this-or-that sheet ahead of time, then have guests see if they can match her choices.
Guess Who: Mommy or Daddy?

A wildly popular game for co-ed showers youโll need both expecting parents to fill one out ahead of time. Guests must decide which parent (or both? or none?) agreed with each statement about who will be taking on which tasks after the baby is born.
Fun, Active Baby Shower Games
These games are all fairly traditional, but are best suited to a crowd willing to get their hands dirty and play the long game.
Baby Food Taste Test
Both gross (to me) and hilarious, you can really amp this game up by including a blindfold on each player! It forces them to rely solely on taste and smell when they canโt even see the color (or textureโฆ yuck) of the baby food theyโre about to eat. If you do use a blindfold, prepare to make a mess! Guests must use a clean disposable spoon to taste each flavor and try to guess what theyโre eating.
Donโt Say Baby!
This one is classic and very competitive for certain family membersโฆ Each guest starts with a little clothespin as they enter the baby shower. If anyone says the B-word (baby, that is), another guest who hears them can steal their clothespin! The person with the most clothespins at the end of the shower wins.
Pacifier Hunt
All you need for this game is some cheap decorative pacifiers and the poster above printed for guests to see as they arrive at the party. Donโt mind your great-aunt if sheโs meandering around the venue the whole time. Sheโs in it to win it!
Modern Baby Shower Games
To keep crowds entertained, sometimes you have to change with the times โ and that means new baby shower games. Or at least old games that have been updated to better fit the world today.
Celebrity Baby Names
In the last couple of decades, celebrities have felt the need to be extra-creative โ even when naming their children. Can YOU match the unique name with their super-famous parents?
Whatโs in Your Purse?
While this game has been around for a long time, itโs been updated to fit todayโs expectations. Cell phone? Check! But are you still walking around with a sewing kit these days?
Childrenโs Books Emoji Pictionary
Emojis werenโt around when your mother had her baby shower! This cute game mixes the classic with the new, challenging all generations equally. Each line features a string of emojis to symbolize a popular, classic childrenโs book. Guests must use the clothes to decipher the title!

You can request the free printable games below, but you should know that I have A LOT MORE pumpkin-themed baby shower games in the bundle! Each of them has a different, one-of-a-kind pumpkin illustration to match the game while still being coordinated as a set. All the games shown on this page are included, plus 29 more.
Plus, you get access to the original templates, so you can edit them in any way you like! Pretty much everything can be changed, including the colors, fonts, and even the wording or trivia questions.

Pumpkin-Themed Prizes for Baby Shower Game Winners
If youโre tight on cash, prizes are definitely not necessary. On the other hand, they can really incentivize your guests to participate and make it a more enjoyable part of the baby shower. For me, just knowing Iโm the winner is enough, but having small gifts to choose from can encourage participation, focus, and a competitive spirit. Consider these prize ideas for winners of your pumpkin baby shower games!
How Many Games to Play
Please, do NOT attempt to play 38 different games at a single baby shower! The only reason my bundle has so many is so you have plenty to choose from! Variety is key so that baby showers amongst groups of friends donโt have the same few games played over and over. The free download includes five games. To me, three to five games is just right for a baby shower.
Some games take less time to play than others. Plus, some games (like Donโt Say Baby or Pacifier Hunt) donโt require all the guests to sit down and play at the same time. There are games that have clear right or wrong answers, but others will have unique answers based on the expecting parents. Including more than five is totally doable depending on which ones you choose.
