Fall is a season filled with warmth, cozy nights, and vibrant colors. Itโs also a wonderful time to welcome a new baby into the world. Having your baby shower in the fall also opens the celebration up to a world of autumn-themed possibilities! Youโll want some fall baby shower games to match the rest of the party.
Iโve put together a lot of fall-themed baby shower games that will keep your guests entertained and excited for the arrival of your little bundle of joy. From pumpkin-themed activities to classic (but fun!) games, thereโs something for everyone to enjoy.
Fall-Themed Baby Shower Games
Theming these games around โfallโ gives them an aesthetic specific to a certain time of year. Still, itโs general enough to be used for a lot of different baby shower themes. Planning a Little Pumpkin baby shower? These would be great. Going for a boho style for a shower in September, October, or November? My game designs will be right up your alley! If youโre looking specifically for baby shower games themed around pumpkins, Iโve got a whole separate collection focused solely on the Little Pumpkin theme.
For shower planners on a budget, Iโm also offering a set of FIVE of the best baby shower games I have โ still themed for fall! โ completely free. But first, let me tell you about some of my favorite games from the bundle.

Fun Games
These games seem to get guests excited to play. One is modern, one challenges common knowledge, and the other tests guestsโ relationships with the parents-to-be!
Baby Shower Emoji Game
Known in my family as โEmoji Pictionary,โ this baby shower game asks guests to translate emoji icons into popular childrenโs book titles. Some of them are pretty obvious, but others will require guests to dig deep into their memories of elementary school to figure them out. This one is not part of the freebie pack, though, so be sure to check out my bundle of 38 different fall-themed baby shower games in the shop!
Price is Right
I love this game because with a small amount of effort you can customize it to your locale! Prices have skyrocketed everywhere lately, but some cities are worse than others. Find out what the items in this game cost at your local store, then see whether or not your guests are out of touch with prices these days.
Guess Who? (Mommy or Daddy Game)

In this baby shower game, youโll put your knowledge of the parents to the test! Guess whether mom or dad agrees with each statement about having a baby. This game is a challenge only for those who are not truly familiar with both expecting parents. Itโs included in the freebie pack too, so scroll down to snag it!
Simple and Easy Games
Baby shower games donโt have to be over-complicated. These games will engage your friends and family without requiring a lot of effort or time.
Nursery Rhyme Game
Nursery rhymes are a bit of a lost art form these days, so the grandmas and grandpas of the party will have an advantage here. Answer simple questions about details from various classic childrenโs rhymes to win!
Who Knows Mommy Best?
Everyone will be at the party to support the expecting mother, butโฆ how many of those people really KNOW her? Playing this game will shed light on who has really known the mother-to-be the best.
Guess How Many Game
I love this game because itโs relaxed and everyone can participate at their own pace. No need to rush to fill out answer cards! Just fill a jar with Brachโs candy pumpkins (or anything else related to fall) and let guests guess how many are inside. Place the jar near the entrance for easy access as people arrive.
Unique Baby Shower Games
Looking for active, engaging games beyond the strictly pen-and-paper? These hands-on games are guaranteed to get laughs!
Whatโs in Your Purse?
Women sometimes get carried away with whatโs stashed in their purses over time. And I know since I became a mom, the amount of stuff in my purse has tripled from what it used to be. I guess that means the fellow mothers at the shower are likely to earn the win on this one!
Dirty Diaper Baby Shower Game
This game is also known as โGuess The Poopโ or โThe Candy Bar Game.โ Guests inspect folded diapers containing melted chocolate candy bars, which look remarkably like baby poop. Watching them get up close and personal with โpoopโ in a diaper is always a hilarious experience. Itโs one of my favorite baby shower games! So of course I had to include a fun sign for it in the freebie pack below.
Baby Food Game
Thereโs nothing quite like watching adults squirm and grimace as they taste unidentified baby food purees! To make sure players donโt know what theyโre eating, put false labels on the jars and let them rely on their senses of smell and taste. My game includes six printable labels which are included in the free package below.

Free Printable Fall Baby Shower Games
While my fall baby shower games are priced to be ultra-affordable, I also know what itโs like to try and celebrate on a shoestring budget. So Iโm happy to offer a smaller bundle of games for free โ and itโs not a bunch of lame ones, either. Three of them are ones I highlighted above! By entering your name and email below, youโll get a link to download a PDF that includes the following games, all with gorgeous fall-themed watercolor images:
- Baby Bingo

Fall-Inspired Prizes for Baby Shower Games
While I donโt believe prizes are absolutely necessary at a baby shower, especially if youโre on a budget, they can certainly enhance the experience. Winning a game is rewarding enough for me, but having small gifts for the winners can encourage participation, focus, and a competitive spirit. Consider these prize ideas for winners of baby shower games in the fall!
How Many Games to Play
It would be impractical to attempt to play all 38 of my games at your baby shower. The reason Iโve included so many is to allow you to select your favorites! I aim to offer variety, as baby showers often feature the same few games repeatedly. Thatโs also why the free download only includes five games. I personally believe thatโs the ideal number of games to play at a baby shower.
However, some games are shorter than others. Additionally, some are skill-based games that donโt require all guests to participate simultaneously (like Donโt Say Baby or Pacifier Hunt). Furthermore, some games have definitive right or wrong answers, while others are based on the expecting parentsโ responses. So you could certainly include a few more if you prefer.
